The recently renamed Foraging Club (previously called Wildly Being Well) started in 2023 on the Isle of Arran.

It is a relaxed and fun group of people who live on Arran and are learning to forage together.

Curious about wild food?

There is nothing like learning to forage in person. It can be pretty daunting to eat wild plants just from information from books or YouTube videos. We gather monthly to improve our knowledge and confidence together.

Foraging is a joy!

Foraging is the gateway to connecting with nature in bigger ways, so at Foraging Club we share and celebrate this journey of reconnection together.

Comfort & confidence foraging

There are some seriously toxic, and even deadly, plants and fungi out there. We learn to forage within the bounds of safety, learning toxic plants as well as edible ones.

Proper Expertise

Lead by myself, Zoë Hughes, Wild Food Educator, these sessions are underpinned by proper expertise. I have been teaching foraging and wild food for 4 years and learning to forage my whole life. I am a member of the Association of Foragers and completely obsessed with mushrooms!
