Please familiarise yourself with the info below before booking:
—-----------------------------
All Events
• Cancellations more than 4 weeks in advance: You’ll receive a full refund, minus booking fees.
• Cancellations within 4 weeks of the event: If I’m able to fill your space, I’ll issue a refund (minus booking fees). If I cannot fill your space, I’m unable to offer a refund.
• Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place.
• Minimum numbers apply. If the event doesn’t meet minimum bookings, I reserve the right to cancel and will offer you the choice of a full refund or rebooking. You’ll be given at least 24 hours notice.
• The weather won’t stop us! Foraging goes ahead in most conditions. In rare cases of dangerous weather (e.g. severe storms), I may cancel or reschedule for safety reasons. You’ll be offered a full refund or rebooking.
• Please arrive on time. Out of respect for others, events start promptly. Refunds cannot be offered for late arrivals or no-shows. Please plan your travel carefully, especially if using ferries or buses.
• Come prepared. Wear suitable clothing and footwear for being outdoors. All participants join at their own risk. I cannot be held responsible for injury or loss of belongings.
• In the event of illness (mine): I reserve the right to cancel any event due to personal illness or emergency. If this happens, you’ll receive a full refund — although I may not be able to share full details.
• In the event of illness (yours): If you’re unwell or showing signs of a contagious illness, please get in touch. I’ll do my best to rebook you if possible.

CalMac Ferry Cancellations (Only applied to select events, such as Wild Food Tasting Tours and Masterclasses)
If CalMac cancels your ferry within 7 days of the event, and no reasonable alternative is available, you will be offered the chance to rebook. If rebooking isn’t possible, I’ll issue a full refund.
To qualify:
• You must provide proof of the CalMac cancellation.
• The ferry ticket must be in the name of the person booked for the event.
• This only applies to non-catering tours (such as the Wild Food Tasting Tour) and not to events involving food, meals or snacks (such as bespoke bookings)
• This does not apply to private bookings.
• Cancellations made more than 7 days in advance are not covered by this policy.
